Review: Fabulous! This show touches many emotions all the while being educational, entertaining and clean! If all documentaries were as enjoyable as this one I would know a whole lot more about the world around me. I feel uber-special because I saw this movie in the indie stage prior to being released in mainstream theatres. I can’t take all the credit for that, because it was a friend’s idea but still… Oh, and the penguins are not nearly as large as you might think they are.

Review: Quite funny, albeit a bit cheesy in some parts. Don’t expect gut-splitting laughter from start to finish. It leads in nicely and then feathers out to a more serious (but not drama-serious) ending. I could do without the “romance” ending, but that’s to be predicted in a film like this. There was a nice little unexpected twist with the nymphy (is that even a word?) redhead and Jeremy. Owen Wilson is always funny in a quiet, sarcastic way and good-ol-boy Vince Vaughn spices it up nicely with the cynical A-type personality depicted in his character. It wasn’t quite as funny as it had been hyped up to be by most everyone I know who’s seen it, but I would recommend this flick. I wouldn’t spend $9 at the gate to watch it again, but adding it to my Netflix queue is quite possible.
