Pandora On the Desktop () ()

Lately I’ve been listening to Pandora quite a bit, and I really like it. One thing that bugged me, was that I had to have a separate window open for it, where things like Musicmatch, Winamp, iTunes, etc would minimize to the system tray so it’s just an icon not taking up any toolbar space.

Today, I found something (free!) that solves that issue. It’s simple and unglorified, which is the best thing about it. Download it from here: Metcasoft

There are 2 versions. Classic and 1.5. Either works just as well. One little gotcha though - how does one actually minimize it? Well, you have to righ click the icon in the tray and then select either “hide” or “show” player. It took me a bit to figure that out, because many “hide-to-tray” programs automatically do so when you minimize or click to close.

Thanks, Brian @ Metcasoft for making this!
